Jude Velez is a film scholar and Ph.D student in the Department of Cinema & Media Studies at University of Washington, Seattle. Jude holds an MS in Media Management from The New School and a BA in Cinema Studies from the State University of New York at Purchase College.


Their research interests include queer and trans film & media studies, psychoanalysis, feminist studies, and women, gender & sexuality.
